Environmental Compliance

EHS helps ensure the University is meeting federal, state, and local environmental regulations, and protects human health within MSU's boundaries and the surrounding community. The environmental compliance division handles issues related to asbestos, lead, hazardous waste management, storm water management, spill and pollution prevention, aboveground storage tanks, and emission sources.

EHS will evaluate potential environmental concerns and make recommendation for additional site evaluation and mitigation, as needed. Please contact EHS for written Standard Operating Procedures or technical assistance regarding environmental compliance on campus.
