Environmental Compliance

EHS helps ensure the University is meeting federal, state, and local environmental regulations, and protects human health within MSU's boundaries and the surrounding community. The environmental compliance division handles issues related to asbestos, lead, hazardous waste management, storm water management, spill and pollution prevention, aboveground storage tanks, SARA Title III and Title V emission sources.

DOT Compliance: EHS provides guidance for the proper handling, classification and transporting of chemicals and hazardous waste.

Environmental Site Assessment: EHS will evaluate potential environmental concerns and make recommendation for additional site evaluation and mitigation , as needed.
